Category
Payer Patient Access APIs
Availability
answered 0 of 2 checks so far; availability is reported once 14 observations exist
Vantage agreement
not reached from any of the 3 vantages tried, all on one network (github-actions), so this run cannot separate an endpoint that is down from one that does not answer this network: TLS error: SSLError

Interpretation

A grade describes two public discovery documents at one point in time. It does not inspect patient data, authenticated behavior, or clinical quality.

How this entry was verified

Listed on the organization's own publication of this base URL, not on a retrieved conformance document: base URL printed verbatim in Imperial Health Plan's own API Endpoint Technical Documentation PDF, linked as 'Download API Endpoint Support Document' from its public interoperability page, as 'Base API URL: https://api.imperialhealthplan.com' with 'Base Endpoint: https://api.imperialhealthplan.com/fhir/Patient' for the Patient Access API. This host disagrees with the one the same issuer's HTML interoperability page uses for the directory resources (members.imperialhealthplan.com), which is recorded rather than reconciled (recorded 2026-08-19). Published at https://exchange.imperialhealthplan.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/api-endpoint-documentation.pdf. On the verification date this probe observed: TLS handshake refused by the server (SSLV3_ALERT_HANDSHAKE_FAILURE). The host resolves and accepts the TCP connection, and the failure reproduces with certificate verification disabled, which rules out this vantage's trust store and the TLS interception that made Capital Blue Cross look dead on 2026-08-05. The server is declining the handshake. No later re-check is recorded, so the date above is the last time anyone checked this entry against the live endpoint.
